Welcome to the Technical and Professional Communication (TPC) website. This website is provided by the University for the convenience and benefit of current and prospective students in the TPC program.The TPC program is part of the College of Liberal Arts.
TPC Program Overview
Rather than being classed as a separate major or minor, the TPC classes are part of a certification program. Students who satisfy the program requirements are given a technical writing certificate which opens the door for a career in technical writing.
Students in the TPC program are taught many useful skills that are needed in the business world, such as technical editing, proposal writing, instruction manual writing, and writing for the fields of science and literature.
